I came to the U.S. from abroad in February 2006.
I a credit card left in the old country. I paid for a few months after the move but could not afford to keep going as I was not working at the time, so I go.
Now, I have a collection account on my U.S. Experian credit report in connection with the let old card. It is from a company called Cedar Financial reports from California. I do not know who they are. The original lender as some Canadian outfit I have never heard of, listed either.
Pulled my reports. Really confussed [lost one] [creditor]

OK . I will try and take them only a few at a time so I do not want to do, the post 27 pages long as my credit report! (Pulled by myFICO . there are other versions that are easier to read?) I'm so lost.

Okay, I called only Oynx Financial Services, I have an old account of 78.59 two years ago I was in the process had to pay. I offered to pay for delete, but they said they could not do it. It would be “illegal” for them to do it because it “fraud” would be records. Hi-
Sorry if I posting this in the wrong place. I need some serious counseling. I have (not in collections with the original creditor, all of which were purchased by credit bureaus and past the 30 days notification.) Multiple credit cards that are in the collections I have no idea what is the right system to verify validate and settle / pay / etc. of debt. Can someone help me?

I'm looking with my credit report. How can I read it? It shows that a time was under the account “up to 180 days late” . This account has been paid . but its still imprecise, because the account is in suspension and not too late and I have evidence of it was deferred.

Anyone ever list there parents (or friends/relatives) as a creditor? My parents gave us $3200 back in March to help with CC payments, and a lawyer I spoke with today said we could list them a creditor, thus we will not have to list the money as income on the means.
We never assigned an official loan agreement or anything though…

My bk was discharged on 12/09, I have a creditor that was not listed and is sueing me now. The creditor was able to get a court date in front of a judge for April 20th and I am not sure what to do.. It looks like they were over looked and not put in the bk but still should fall under no asset but not sure what to do to stop the court date….Any answers would be helpful on what to do, unable to get in touch with my attorney so I am stuck , please help

West Asset Management can not get out of my report. Should I pay if possible to the original creditor? If I were forced to then be able to uninstall the CA?
