Is a zero fee index fund such a good idea for investors?

If it is, would it also be good for the companies that offer it? If so, how do they make money and why not ETFs too? Would it not be better if the companies pay investors to buy their funds? I'm confused!

You beat me to it!! I guess You are referring to  FZILX and FZROX

just saw saw this featured on CNBC. They are getting new customers who may further in their life go for “expense” paid investments....

I'm happy, and now have a few more funds that are costing me less -- resulting in slightly larger compounded returns.

Thank you, Fidelity!

For day traders, ETFs with zero management fees AND zero trading fees would be even better. How much longer should we wait?
