Where are you regarding PIMCO Income Fund (PONAX and PIMIX) for retirement income?

#11
I came here to see what others think of this fund (PIMIX).
My holding has crept up to almost 20% of my total liquid assets and I've been happy with it as an income generating component of my portfolio which is pretty heavy on low/no dividend techs.

That said I'm looking at a pretty bad year (understandable given the climate for bonds) and an opportunity to harvest a significant capital loss.  A factor against selling is the $1m entry for new investors.

Perhaps I'll meet in the middle and sell some.  Or I can play it out, take the reliable monthly payments, and hope my reinvested dividends are dollar cost averaging into some bargain shares.
